The service by staff was excellent. They were super busy, but they made sure everyone was seen to and managed to get the queue down quickly. Even though they were busy, they were all really friendly! The food was fantastic with really good portions and so much to choose from!
There was a queue which moved quickly and they got us seated after a short wait. The waitress brought us water to the table on seating us and swiftly took our order for food and drinks.
I had a bacon on ciabatta roll with a flat white coffee and my husband had the scrambled eggs on sourdough toast with a pot of tea.
The food and drinks were 5 star quality. The portions were great and there was a lot to choose from. The bacon on ciabatta roll and scrambled eggs on sourdough toast were both lovely.
I would definitely return when I’m in York again. The overall experience was great with excellent service, fantastic food, and a quick seating process despite the busy atmosphere.
