The park is open to the public 24 hours a day, and staff are on site from 7.30am until 3.30pm Monday to Thursday, and until 3pm on Friday.
The large lake in the park is home to a variety of waterfowl including mute swan, mallard, coot, moorhen, great-crested grebe, and goosander.
Part of Robbie Williams' 40th Birthday Celebration Trail includes the park, where Robbie used to play football with his school and friends. A permanent plaque has been placed by the main gates off Victoria Park Road to commemorate this.
The park offers a range of amenities for children, from baby swings to a skate park, providing a variety of activities for kids of all ages to enjoy.
