Stayed here for one night at the weekend, although from the outside the building doenst look up to much, the stay was actually better than the spa hotel we stayed in the previous night.The staff on reception were extremely welcoming, the room was basic but clean and everything inside worked. The location was great, we had a car so was able to go wherever but we also learnt from the lovely gentleman serving breakfast the next morning that there was a bus stop right outside the hotel that can take you into Manchester for £2.The breakfast was brilliant, and the mem working there were very friendly and helpful.Can't fault the hotel and would definitely return if we are ever in the area again
I stayed three nights there. Clean, warm and light room. Very kind and and helpful staff. Delicious continental breakfast! There is a bar for the day. The chef helped us with tourist information about the places to visit in Manchester. Very friendly staff. Quiet and romantic place in a religious college. The college has an open library and if you have time you can visit it . I will book again when I travel to Manchester. I strongly recommend the college rooms for families with children, single or business trips for the great location close to the centre with convenient and fast public transport.
Rooms: Las habitaciones cuentan con todo lo necesario para pasar tu estancia. No cuentan ni con secador, ni plancha, pero se lo puedes pedir a la recepcionista.Food & drinks: El desayuno es buffet libre y cuenta con todo tipo de cereales, zumo de naranja y de arándanos, bollería, cafés, tés, tostadas de jamón y queso, etc. Recomendado totalmente
and the only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is that the room could definitely have done with a lick of paint and updating, although it was clean.I would definitely recommend staying here - I definitely will again when the need arises! My top tip is to book direct with them rather than an aggregator online - I saved a few pounds doing this :-
