User FAQs

The Animal Centre Charity Shop and Reception are staffed by lovely volunteers and are open from 11:00am to 12 noon and 3:00pm until 4:00pm. Please note that the kennels are closed to the public to avoid stress on the dogs.

If you have concerns about animal cruelty or neglect, you can contact the charity by emailing customerservices@rspcasheffield.org. They promise to do all they can to help and never put an animal to sleep unless advised by a Vet or qualified animal behaviourist.

You can donate your unwanted clutter to the charity shop, which will help raise funds to rescue animals. You can drop off donations at the Sheffield Animal Shelter 24/7 days a week using the donation bins, or visit one of their Charity Shops to donate.

If you find a lost or stray dog, you can reach out to the charity for assistance. They will do everything they can to help reunite the dog with its owner. Please do not advertise or sell any animals on social media platforms or selling sites, as it may not end well for the animal.

You can visit the Animal Centre during the specified times to meet and greet a dog or see cats looking for a home. The staff are friendly and dedicated to helping animals in need. The experience of adopting a pet from the shelter has been described as great and the animals are well cared for.
