The leisure centre and stadium offer first class leisure facilities including a 100 station gym, a 25m swimming pool, Group Cycle studio, large exercise studio, Children’s Soft play area, 5-aside Astro pitches, Athletics track, Velodrome track, and a stadium that seats 780 people.
The centre is located in the heart of Palmer Park, just a short walk from local bus routes and a 5 minute drive from Reading Station and the main shopping centre, the Oracle.
The leisure centre and stadium is working in partnership with Reading Borough Council to deliver high quality facilities to the local community. It is also home to various sport clubs including Reading Athletics club, Reading Road Runners, and Palmer Park Velo Club.
Visitors can enjoy a Better Café, 2 Party Rooms, toilets for park users, and an accessible changing place for those who require the facility. The centre also provides various fitness zones for cardio, strength and resistance training, as well as virtual technology in the Group Cycle studio and exercise studio.
