The beach boasts a spectacular stretch of coastline with dramatic cliffs, diverse wildlife, and a renowned rockpooling beach. It is a dog-friendly beach from October to April, offering miles of coast accessed from the coast path.
There are designated places for Blue Badge holders to park for free, pay & scan machines in the car park, and an outdoor shower. The beach also has accessible toilets in the Marine Centre when open, and a level access circular walk at Wembury Point.
Visitors can follow the A379 from Plymouth, turn right at Elburton, and follow signs to Wembury. The beach is easily accessible by car, with free parking for National Trust members and a charge for non-members. There is also a daily bus service from Plymouth to Wembury.
