Within the park lies a 19th century Grade II listed manor house, formal gardens, green houses, grassland, and small wooded areas.
The park offers a Tropical House, a 'sunken garden' with a water feature, and an innovative train sculpture at the entrance to the old railway bridge.
Visitors can enjoy orienteering, fitness areas suitable for all ages and abilities, and guided tours of the Greenhouse.
The kiosk has a 'green' roof made of sedum, light tubes for natural lighting, movement sensors to minimize waste, and push-taps to avoid water wastage.
Visitors can explore the restored Greenhouses dating back to the late 19th century, as well as the remains of the Nottingham Suburban Railway including a train sculpture at the entrance of a tunnel.
