The school offers a wide range of hands-on courses taught by world-class tutors, covering subjects such as artisan bread baking, patisserie, cheesemaking, butchery, charcuterie, pie making, preserves and pickling, foraging, fermenting, and more.
The short courses range from half a day to four weeks, providing a flexible learning experience for students of all ages and skill levels.
The Advanced Diploma in Artisan Baking is a six-month, full-time intensive course accredited by FDQ, equivalent to a foundation degree qualification. It is designed to provide students with advanced skills in artisan baking.
The new three-year course, run in partnership with Nottingham Trent University, aims to develop practical skills and teach students how to establish sustainable and ethical food practices to improve current food production processes.
The school is an active member of the Bassetlaw Food Insecurity Network and has initiated the Best Food Forward Programme, working with health centers and schools to promote education about healthy, delicious sustainable food.
