Payment is expected to be made at the time of treatment. Direct insurance claims may be permitted on the basis that the insurance excess is paid before claims are processed. We currently do not charge for the completion and sending of insurance forms.
There is one complimentary post-operative check for surgical cases, and suture removal is also performed free of charge for operations performed at the center. Every effort is made to accommodate clients in genuine emergencies.
'Out of hours' fees are applied when an animal is seen outside of normal opening hours. The center has specific opening hours on weekends at different locations. Home visits during out of hours will incur fees, and animals are never turned away in a genuine emergency.
Vets can advise on general risks in certain areas for traveling pets. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure all requirements are met for pet travel, and local risks should be investigated and understood by the client.
All cats, rabbits, and small animals must be kept in baskets in the waiting room, and all dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. The safety of the pet, the client, and the staff are of the highest priority, and appropriate measures may be taken to ensure safety, such as applying a muzzle or providing sedation.
