Highly recommend the course for anyone that is looking to start a career in barbering. Jake and Jack are very good mentors with great patience and knowledge from years of experience.The course uses utilises a free hair cut system as appose to you cutting fake doll model heads, which allows for growth in the other aspects of barbering such as customer service etc.My course was based at the Northampton branch which is a modern spacious facility, it had all the equipment necessary for all of the students to carry out work. The mentors are also happy with you bringing your own equipment should you wish to practice and familiarise yourself with those instead.Overall a very enjoyable and fun 2 weeks, and certainly felt like it was very beneficial being able to get so hands on within such a short period of time.

The quarter barbing academy was a great course for me as it was very full on - no messing about barbering, we went straight into it. The tutors are there to help you and guide ... all thanks to jacks who took every moment to teach well it was really an eye opening

Such an amazing experience and a great “hands on” course. Can’t believe how much I learnt in the space of two weeks and truly believe I’ve built the foundations of a new skill and can’t wait to keep building on it.I can’t thank them enough for helping me create a new career path. This course was life changing!I started this course by never cutting hair. It’s something I’d always inspire to do and become a barber.By the second day I was cutting hair under the supervision of course instructor Jack.Before I knew it, I was skin fading clients multiple times a day, with confidence!I literally owe this to Jack. He is not only a great instructor, he’s a great human as well. He will make you feel at ease throughout your time on the course.I finished the course on Friday and I’ve been offered two jobs in a barbershop since.Do not hesitate and get yourself on this course and change your life!Again, shout-out to Jack. But also thank you to Dale and Conor who popped in the academy here and there to help us out too.
Not sure where to start really didn’t know what to expect with no experience, took the 10 day deluxe barbering course with no previous knowledge and abit hesitate going into it. Left even more happier than I could of ever imagined I was taught by Jack & he has helped me change my life going forward. I was cutting hair all by myself after I was done with the course 100% confidant in myself. Can’t thank the team enough. Jake is a top guy too. I attended the deluxe barbering course at the Birmingham academy and was so impressed. The course gave me all the skills and knowledge needed to begin barbering, I’m now employed at a salon working full time. Many thanks to Jack who runs the course, he’s a great teacher.

This is such a cool academy to learn mens barbering skills. Jake really helped me out and went out of his way to get me on the course when he knew about my personal circumstances, rather than turn me away, and I am hugely grateful for that and it says a lot about what a decent guy he is. Thanks Jake… Josh my Teacher was brilliant with me, really clear with his teaching and so calming and supportive, he is a brilliant barber and a top fella too. I loved every minute of my time with this academy, it’s very professional, stylish with a really cool vibe.
