The vision for St Michael’s is to be people of prayer and action, loving and trusting God, serving others, creating a place where all can belong and feel supported, and working towards a just and peaceful world as peacemakers.
On the first Sunday of each month, there is a simple service of Holy Communion. On other Sundays, there is a service of Holy Communion in a modern version with a robed choir. Additionally, there is a youth group for those 11 years and above, a small group meeting on Wednesdays, and a Toddler Group meeting on Thursdays.
The Church youth group, called Genesis, caters to those 11 years of age and above. They meet every Tuesday during Term time from 7.30pm to 9.00pm. The topics for discussion are usually Christian based.
Yes, a small group continues to meet from 9.30 to 10.00 am each Wednesday. This group is particularly suitable for people who may not always be able to attend other events.
Yes, there is a Toddler Group that meets every Thursday from 9.30 – 11.00 am. The group offers playtime, singing, and refreshments in a warm and friendly environment. There is no charge to attend.
