The food and ambience were divine. The service was fast and I would highly recommend it. It was busy for a reason, and I would give it 5 stars.
I honestly can't improve on it. I've been to many surrounding restaurants in Didsbury, Chorlton & Cheshire, and this is by far the best. The chef clearly loves his/her job and it shows on the plate. The food was very fresh and really tasty.
My partner and I both had a roast, and the food was lovely. The chocolate soufflé that followed was also very good. The service was good and the staff were friendly.
I highly recommend the lamb that is currently on the menu. The crème brûlée is one of the best I've had. The restaurant also caters to gluten-free dietary restrictions.
The service was good, and the starters were decent. The slow-cooked beef for the main course was impressive, and the sirloin had excellent value for money. The creme brulee for dessert was worth recommending. The restaurant offers a selection of wines that can be ordered in 125ml servings.
