The museum is open Tuesday to Friday from 9.30am to 4pm, and weekends from 11.30am to 4pm. Additionally, the library will be opening on Tuesdays starting from November 7th, with the Local History Library open one Saturday in four from 12pm to 4pm.

The museum is collaborating with Harold Riley's family to honor the late artist's life. Additionally, there are exhibitions showcasing a variety of experiences for visitors, including maps and photographs of old Salford in the local history library.
