Over 1500 Adults and Children learn to love the water each week on the Swim School Programme. Additionally, the leisure centre is home to various water polo teams and is used as the main training facility for the GB National Water Polo Squad.
The leisure centre is operated by a not-for-profit organisation established and overseen by Manchester City Council, under the MCRactive brand.
The leisure centre is celebrating International Women's Day on Friday, 8th March 2024. Additionally, there are plans for fundraising initiatives with leading health charity Diabetes UK.
