New members at the family-friendly club, whether they be experienced sailors or complete beginners, individuals, couples, or families, are all welcomed with open arms.
The club, an RYA-accredited Training Centre, offers training to all, from complete beginners to those who would like to improve their existing sailing skills.
The club's main open regatta, typically held during the late May Bank Holiday weekend, is a 4-day event from Friday to Monday. Major national sailing events are held during this week.
Members are able to book out club boats for their own use, including Wayfarers, OKs, Fevas, Toppers, and Optimists.
A group of nine volunteers from the club dedicated their time to clear moss and vegetation from the club's frontage to enhance the appearance and safety of the space used for berthing dinghies and under the Topper racks.
