What is the Sky Garden?
The Sky Garden is a 'rooftop garden' located on the 35th, 36th and 37th floors of the 20 Fenchurch Street skyscraper, better known as the Walkie-Talkie due to its curved shape.
This landscaped garden designed by the landscapers at Studio Gillespies is rightly considered London's tallest public garden, consisting of shady forest and sun-loving plants such as ferns and palm trees.
Regarding 20 Fenchurch Street, it is a building located at the gates of the business district of the City, composed of 37 floors and a height of 160 m, designed by the Uruguayan architect Rafael Viñoly.
The general public has retained from this building, the undesirable effects of the reflection of the sun on the concave glass facade which had melted in 2013, the dashboard of a Jaguar!

When to visit the Sky Garden?
The ideal is to visit Sky Garden on sunny days and on a clear day to have the best view and not to be cold. The panoramic terrace is outside and therefore not sheltered from the elements. In case of rain or cold you will still be able to see London from the inside.
If you come in winter when the likelihood of having rain and cloudy skies is more important, I advise you to make your visit at dusk to see London lit up. Also note that the Sky Garden terrace closes at 18:00 p.m., arrive before to have access and take pictures.
How to book a visit to the Sky Garden?
The visit can be booked directly on the Grand Site website from the Sky Garden, where tickets go online every Monday, up to 3 weeks in advance. Anticipate your arrival, especially on sunny days when places are taken by storm.
To book, indicate your first and last names and specify the day and time of your visit.
Be punctual on the day of your visit because any arrival 10 minutes after the time indicated on the ticket will no longer give you the right to visit the terrace. Its access is also subject to a security check.
Recently, it is possible to access the Skygarden without reservation, Monday to Friday between 10 a.m. and 00:11 a.m. and 30 p.m. to 14:00 p.m., depending on availability.
