Located in the heart of the business district of City like Skygarden and the Gherkin, Fen Court is a magnificent roof garden offering a 360 ° view of London. Presentation of the Fen Court building
Open on February 15, 2019, Fen Court is a new building of 15 floors or 69 m. It was designed by British architect Eric Parry on behalf of the Generali insurance company. For this project, the architect brought together two buildings into a single unit. The upper level is easily identifiable as it is covered with colored bands illuminated both day and night.
This 15-story office and retail complex has London's largest garden terrace at its top. That is to say an area of 2 m², ie the equivalent of eight tennis courts!
Inspired by the gardens of the English countryside, Fen Court's panoramic terrace is adorned with fruit trees, a wisteria-covered pergola and a perimeter promenade that offers breathtaking views of the London skyline.
Fen Court Garden: a panoramic view of London
Contrary to shard (300m high) and the Skygarden (150m high), which offer grandiose views over London, Fen Court offers a more human point of view. Indeed, we find ourselves almost face to face with the most beautiful buildings in the City such as: Walkie-Talkie, Gherkin, Scalpel, Cheesegrater or Lloyd's Building.
Here is the opportunity to see more closely the details of the buildings but also their often utilitarian roofs.
Fen Court Garden also offers a panoramic and open view of the city. Beyond the many buildings of the City, we can see the dome of the st paul's cathedral, London Eye, Tower Bridge or Tower of London.

Before getting into the elevator, look up and admire the digital art installation by Vong Phaophanit and Claire Oboussier. It presents a series of images alternately representing nature and monuments of London.
When to come to Fen Court Garden rooftop?
The terrace being in the open air, I would obviously advise you to come in fine weather and more precisely from May when the wisteria are in bloom. The setting will be all the more pleasant both from a visual and olfactory point of view!
A visit at the end of the day during sunset is also to be favored.
Do you need a reservation to go to Fen Court Garden?
Access to the rooftop is free and no reservation is necessary. The terrace is limited to 200 people on a first come, first served basis.
