Presentation of the Diana Memorial Playground

Celebrated on June 30, 2000, this playground was opened in memory of Princess Diana. Its location in the gardens of Kensington It was no accident that the princess lived in Kensington Palace until her death.

What are the games for children at Diana Memorial Playground?

The main attraction of this playground is the magnificent pirate ship stranded on a fine sandbank. Kids can climb aboard, explore the cabins, touch the pulleys and ropes, and spin the giant wheel. All around are rocks to climb, pools of water, one of which is inhabited by a crocodile!

The garden is full of surprises with a colorful kaleidoscope, a treasure chest half buried in the sand and even a pebble path leading to a secret tunnel, too small for adults!
Peter Pan fans will recognize the magical shores of Neverland, with the Mermaid Lagoon and Marooners Rock.

For the little ones, small boats arranged next to the big one, allow them to take place on board.

Children will also get to experience Camp Wigwam with totem poles and a trio of teepees, which they can enter and settle into.

The sensory path with a musical garden will allow children to play together.
The area has other activities such as slides, swings, playhouses and wooden sculptures.

A creative playground for everyone!

Children can explore, play, touch as they please and therefore let their imaginations run free.
Much of the equipment has been designed for children who are less active or in Wheelchair with specific needs.
