The park is 14.73 hectares in size and offers formal gardens, conservation areas, and extensive views across Walthamstow Marshes.
The park holds a Green Flag award, which is given to the best green spaces in the country to ensure the quality of the green space remains high.
The Council secured investment for a £4.1 million restoration project at the park, which included refurbishment of a historic house, construction of a new play area, and the addition of a new venue called The Glass House.
Visitors can enjoy various activities and events at the park, including family walks, free yoga classes, wellbeing walks, bootcamp classes, and gentle exercise sessions. The park also offers a community venue for weddings, civil ceremonies, community classes, meetings, and special events.
The cafe at the park is open 7 days a week, with hours from 10am to 6pm from April to September, and 10am to 4pm from October to March. Visitors can also access toilets on the ground floor of a historic house during cafe opening hours.
