Here is a small selection of 5 fish n 'chips restaurants in London that I particularly liked. My selection criteria are multiple, namely: the freshness of the fish, the quality of the breadcrumbs, a good value for money and finally the setting of the restaurant and the reception.
I want to clarify that I was not invited to eat at the eye 😉 and write rave reviews on these restaurants !! Just like you, I paid the bill !!
I hope this list will grow over the course of my stays in London so that you can discover my favorites.
Finally, know that in all fish n 'chips restaurants, the best plan to save money is to take your fish n' chips to take away!
Fish! : Delicious fish n 'chips
Located in Borough Market, Fish ! - whose owner is a fishmonger - offers a very nice fish menu of impeccable quality and freshness.
The fish n 'chips are delicious and are one of my favorites despite being a little higher than average.
As an accompaniment, the split pea puree and the fries are a delight.
Bon plan! Save up to £ 8 with take out.

Poppies: fish n 'chips in a fifties decor!
Since 1952, Poppies serves authentic fish and chips and places great importance on the quality and freshness of the fish that comes daily from Billingsgate Fish Market.
The atmosphere is that of the 50s with vintage objects, pastel colors and even a jukebox!
In 2014, Poppies received the award for “Britain's best independent fish and chip restaurant”.
Bon plan! Poppies offers two sizes of fish n 'chips namely Regular and Large. If your appetite is reasonable, prefer the regular version which should satisfy you !!

Rock & Sole Plaice: fish n 'chips without fuss!
Not far from Covent Garden, Rock & Sole Plaice is an institution where fish n 'chips are since 1871 prepared according to the traditional recipe.
Let's be clear, we don't come here to decorate the restaurant but rather to enjoy a crispy and tasty fish n 'chips.
Bon plan! As at Poppies, 2 sizes of fish n 'chips are available. For a reasonable hunger, prefer the regular portion.

The Mayfair Chippy, good fish n 'chips without a smile!
Right in the heart of the upscale Mayfair district and a stone's throw from Oxford Street, Mayfair Chippy serves quality fish n 'chips although a little too fatty for my taste.
The restaurant is very pleasant with an elegant and modern decoration.
On the other hand, the welcome is deplorable, do not expect to have a smile or a kind word. What a pity !
