With B-Bakery, we have tea and taste delicious pastries in an authentic 60s routemaster. An unusual and British activity: to discover the mythical places of London! An original visit to do in love for the Valentine's day, on the occasion of a birthday or a bachelorette party.
B-Bakery is a French pastry shop that has a traditional and modern tea room in the very pretty district of Covent Garden. It is in a girly setting that you can indulge in a British tradition with French finesse in addition!
The afternoon tea consists of a selection of savory dishes (small sandwiches, quiches) and English and French inspired pastries (hot scones served with cream and jam, fruit pies and homemade macaroons). As an accompaniment, several teas are offered such as red tea and fresh orange juice.

B-Bakery had the ingenious idea of transforming an authentic routemaster into a tea room to combine indulgence and visit.
During approximately 1h30, we pass the monuments and the most emblematic places of London such as Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, London Eye, Harrods and many others ... Alternatively, audio commentaries provide information on the monuments and British pop music sets the mood on the bus. You will undoubtedly be humming along to the songs of George Michael, the Beatles or even Oasis !!!
B-Bakery afternoon tea is an opportunity to discover or rediscover London from another angle, in a fun and original way.
Moreover, even though the buses are over 50 years old, they are comfortable and well placed to get the best view during the tour.
During the Gin Lovers tour, you will taste 3 original gin-based cocktails accompanied by small savory sandwiches, mini quiches, cupcakes, scones, pastries and macaroons. The choice is varied and of quality which will satisfy both savory and sweet tastes!
This tour is for adults only.
More classic than the Gin Lovers tour, this afternoon tea allows you to taste the favorite tradition of the English. Enjoy a tea accompanied by pastries and savory dishes without forgetting a delicious orange juice.
Activity to share with family or friends 😉
Special mention for the welcome and the kindness of the staff who always smile and are available to answer questions and ensure throughout the visit that we are satisfied.
Some people on board or in the tea room are French, which facilitates discussions for those who do not have a perfect command of English 😉
Without hesitation yes! First of all for the quality of the pastries which are elegantly presented and tastefully refined. Not too much sugar or fat. The choice of sweets and savory dishes are varied allowing to taste many flavors and British specialties.
As for the gin-based cocktails, we appreciate their balanced dosage and their originality. The 3 cocktails on offer each have their own signature and allow you to discover different flavors that go together very well. Special mention for the gin - cucumber cocktail 🙂
Finally, this activity is recommended for its British and fun concept! Indeed, unlike other double-decker bus rides, here we travel in a real routemaster from the 60s, perfectly restored and adapted and with careful decoration. The setting is intimate with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
A beautiful walk to share with your partner or family that will undoubtedly appeal to children and allow you to discover London without getting tired while sharing a good time.
