The centre rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes hundreds of neglected and abandoned animals each year.
As an independently funded centre, the business relies on the generous support of the public and local community to keep running.
If an animal on the website has ‘reserved’ on their photo, you can still apply for that animal. The ‘Reserved’ sign is added to an animal as soon as an individual enquires about them. This means that animal is still AVAILABLE, since the person enquiring may not be suitable, and you can therefore still contact us to apply to adopt the animal.
People can support the centre financially by donating, playing the weekly lottery, purchasing items from the Amazon Wishlist, and visiting the on-site pet shop for their pet's needs.
Founded in 1881, the centre has been helping animals in need for over one hundred years. They provide vital care to animals in need across Leicestershire, Peterborough, and Rutland, alongside educating the public about animal welfare.
