Redhill Aviation operates a large fleet of popular two and four seat aircraft as well as complex single and multi engine piston aircraft available.
Available for both training and PPL self-hire are multiple two-seat Cessna 152s, including an Cessna Aerobat. We also offer the ubiquitous Piper PA28, an aircraft that can carry up to four people. It is the 180hp variant, with a Garmin 430 and leather seats.
For those who wish to move up to a faster, complex type with retractable undercarriage and variable-pitch propeller, we offer the Piper Arrow PA28R. The Arrow is also fitted with a Garmin 430 GPS.
We offer a welcoming reception area with free Wi-Fi, a sofa and magazines for students and visitors to read. Our operations staff are always on hand to answer any queries and especially enjoying hearing how students’ training is progressing over a complimentary cuppa!
There is ample free car parking on-site along with a great cafe overlooking the aerodrome.

Redhill Aviation Flight Centre is a well-established, friendly, UK CAA Approved Training Organisation (ATO) and flying club. We have highly experienced and helpful instructors & 4 examiners, including a VHF and HF radio examiner. We offer training and testing 7 days per week for the following:
Ground training for all PPL subjects (including IMC) and one-to-one assistance if required
Plus, we offer revalidations and renewals for both SEP & MEP at very competitive rates.

keith horley: I bought my son a training flight for his 15th birthday, this was fulfilled by Redhill Aviation and it was fantastic. I can't thank the team enough we had an amazing day. It was an hour flight and we were able to make it over to Brands Hatch on to the Thames and back via Hever Castle, and Chartwell house. Our instructor was so knowledgeable on what was around us, he could have been a tour guide! The quality of instruction was incredible everything was explained in a detailed but understandable manner. It was amazing to see my son go from never flying an aeroplane before, to being able to hold level flight on an instructed heading accurately. I'm hugely impressed and would love to book more lessons as time allows.

Charles Carfrae: I completed my CPL here in late 2022 and I had a great experience at the school. Firstly, my instructor Laurance was excellent; professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. His previous experience in flying and as ATC was invaluable, and his style is relaxed to let you make your own mistakes whilst learning without overloading you but giving you the essential info you need. When you need it he has excellent simple techniques or mnemonics of the various aspects of the CPL/flying in the SE that breaks it down into easy to manage chunks.The school itself was fantastic, a really welcoming vibe and knowledgable Ops staff made going there a pleasure and they are happy to help you with any questions you have. All the instructors are really friendly and knowledgeable. The prices I found to be some of the best in the South and the Arrow I flew was well maintained. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this school for professional training.

A busy year for her but finally went up yesterday, on a Bank Holiday Monday no less, and she had a wonderful time. Everybody we dealt with were friendly and her instructor proved superb.
