Children can participate in outdoor activities such as white water tubing, bushcraft sessions, kayaking, and paddleboarding. These activities are designed to be fun and engaging for kids of all ages.
Kids need to bring a swimsuit, a pair of old shoes that can get wet, and a towel. All other necessary equipment, such as wetsuits and helmets, will be provided by the Sports complex.
The Discover Kayaking sessions focus on developing kayaking skills in a sheltered water environment. Participants will engage in fun games and challenges to build a solid foundation in the sport.
The Sports complex is home to Scotland's only artificial whitewater course, providing a clean water basin for a variety of water-based activities. It is located just 5 minutes from Glasgow City Centre, making it easily accessible for visitors.
The Sports complex aims to increase participation in sport, provide recreational facilities, and organize activities to improve and promote wellbeing, quality of life, and education. As a charity and social enterprise, it uses various approaches to achieve these objectives.
