The Birmingham Botanical Gardens and Glasshouses offer a uniquely bio-diverse natural environment with over 7000 plants to explore in Victorian Glasshouses and outdoor Gardens. Visitors can also enjoy the Alpine Gardens, Japanese Garden showcasing the National Bonsai Collection, Pinetum, Adventure Playground, and a rolling lawn overlooking the restored authentic bandstand.
Visitors can make a day of it by visiting the café, playground area, joining seasonal garden walks and talks, and attending a variety of fun events throughout the year. The site is transitioning to a cashless system to support sustainability and enhance the overall visitor experience.
From 10th February to 24th May, the Gardens are open from 10 am until 5 pm on weekdays and weekends.
Visitors can explore the full events programme to plan their next unforgettable adventure, including concerts, candlelight evenings, and performances by talented musicians.
