Visitors can expect to see a variety of animals including cows, sheep, pigs, donkeys, geese, ducks, guinea pigs, rabbits, goats, ferrets, and many rare breeds of chickens. All the animals are tame and friendly, allowing for up close interaction and feeding.
The farm is owned and operated by Andy and Dawn. They have been running the farm since it opened in 2009 and have since rescued many animals, in addition to the ones that have found their way to the farm.
There is a programme of children's activities during school holidays and Christmas craft sessions. Children can also interact with the animals by feeding them by hand, providing a fun and educational experience.
As an innovative rural enterprise, the farm generates income to invest in the continual improvement of facilities and services. They welcome visitors each year and have ambitious plans for growth and development.
Visitors have described the farm as amazing, with lots to do and plenty of animals to feed. They appreciate the affordable bucket of feed for the animals and the improvements made since lockdown, such as the fairy garden and enhanced seating/play area.
